Wessex Equine was founded in 2011 by 3 Vets; Julian, Oscar and Andy. Their vision was to combine their skills and experience to provide a high level first opinion ambulatory equine practice to cover the Wiltshire, Avon and South Gloucestershire area.

The ethos from the very beginning was to provide the highest standard of veterinary care to your horses, ponies and donkeys by a team of dedicated and experienced equine vets.

Since then the Practice has grown, evolved and gone from strength to strength.

Now a team of 9 Vets with differing areas of expertise, we continue to offer all aspects of first opinion equine veterinary care. From routine and emergency treatment to stud medicine, pre-purchase examinations and diagnostic procedures including x-rays, ultrasound scans and gastroscopies.
